  • Later at the Library

Free event, all welcome, no need to book. Refreshments available. Are books your guilty pleasure? We’ll discuss a range of authors and books TBC on the last Friday of every month. Which ones would you recommend? Bring along your favourites to read out yourself, or listen to others read.

  • Non-Fiction Reading Group

Book group with a difference, for those interested in non fiction.
Unlike other groups we don't all read the same book. Instead, we meet once a month to talk about any non fiction books we've read.
These can range from geology to economics, biography to nature walking, Stephen Hawkins (Brief History Of Time) to Adam Kay (This Is Going To Hurt).
Free event, new members welcome. Ask in library for details

  • Jane’s Reading Group

Kirklees Library Services have a wide range of books, fiction & non-fiction, available for reading groups to borrow. We pick one a month from this list to read & discuss. Open to new members. Ask in the library for details.
