How you can help us
You can help by donating either (or both!) some of your money or time.
Every year we’re dependent on new donations to help cover our building’s annual running costs of £10,000.
You can make a donation in one of our collecting boxes around the local shops, but what will really help is if you commit to contribute regularly £1 per month, by joining our Supporters Club. The club already raises over £1,000p.a. which, as we know we’re going to get it, really helps us plan our expenditure. More info
Did you know that the car park is not Kirklees Council’s?
Instead it’s our trust that now owns it. We know the car park is also a valuable resource to our local community, but we have to also raise the funds to maintain it.
If you use the car park please make a donation in one of the collecting boxes, which are located in many of our village shops. If you use it regularly please join our Supporters Club.
Can you regularly donate a few hours of your time?
We need more volunteers to join any of our 3 teams:
Help in the library ideally on an agreed day and time slot, by joining our close team of library volunteers. You’ll receive training then support from Kirklees Library Service and from us. More info
Help us organise the work of the trust and the events we run, by joining our management team.
We typically meet monthly in the evening. More info
Become a trustee and help the existing ones, 5 of the 9 of whom have been involved since the beginning, by bringing fresh energy and idea to help lead our organisation. More info
